چکیده
Objective: To evaluate the value and compliance rate of voiding vesicoureteral urosonography in pediatric reflux (VUR).
Methods: This is a retrospective study. A total 80 children with high-risk VUR admitted to Children’s Hospital affiliated Capital Medical University from December 2018 2020 were selected. All patients underwent (VUS) fluoroscopic cystourethrography (VCUG). The sensitivity compared, its application was evaluated.
 Results: 160 PUUs examined, all cases normal. Among them, 56 had (35.00%, 56/160), 46 under both examination methods (28.75%, 46/160), 10 only detected VUS (6.25%, 10/160). Thirty-four (42.50%, 34/80) diagnosed by VUS, among which 15 bilateral 4 unilateral reflux. Twenty-five 25/80) VCUG, regurgitation five regurgitation. No significant difference observed detection between two (P=0.432). 146 found be consistent (91.25%, 160), including 2 Grade-I reflux, 6 Grade-II 14 Grade-III 12 Grade-IV eight Grade-V 104 without demonstrating SATISFACTORY consistency groups (Kappa=0.885).
Conclusion: Voiding has high coincidence children.

Comparison 0f Ultrasound Findings with Voiding Cystourethrography in Detecting Vesicoureteral Reflux in Children
Background & Aims: Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR) is a common urinary tract disorder among pediatric population and defined as the retrograde flow of urine from the bladder into the ureters and renal collecting systems due to a failure in the ureterovesical valve function (1). Identifying children with VUR at an early age provides an opportunity to prevent episodes of acute pyelonephritis and the ...

BACKGROUND Imaging of the urinary system is considered to be responsible for significant radiation in children. OBJECTIVES This study was conducted to measure and compare the radiation dose in spot films with photofluorography voiding cystourethrography (VCUG) in children. PATIENTS AND METHODS 111 [222 Kidney Urinary Unit (KUU)] pediatric patients, aged 1 month to 5 years, with symptomatic ...
متن کاملTwo-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional static (3D) and real-time (4D) contrast enhanced voiding urosonography (ceVUS) versus voiding cystourethrography (VCUG) in children with vesicoureteral reflux.
BACKGROUND Two-dimensional (2DUS) contrast enhanced voiding urosonography has been used in the diagnosis and treatment monitoring of the vesicoureteral reflux in children for over 15 years. The opportunity of performing this examination with the use of three-dimensional static (3DUS) and real-time (4DUS) techniques opens up new diagnostic horizons. OBJECTIVE To analyze if 3DUS/4DUS bring addi...
متن کاملComparison of Renal Ultrasound and Voiding Cystourethrography in the Detection of Vesicoureteral Reflux
Background: This study evaluates the accuracy of renal ultrasonography (US) in the detection of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) compared to voiding cystourethrography (VCUG). Martials and Methods:We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 131 children with urinary tract infection. Ultrasound findings were considered to be suggestive of VUR if a “pelvocalyceal dilatation”‚ “retrovesical uret...
متن کامل2D/3D/4D contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography in the diagnosis and monitoring of treatment of vesicoureteral reflux in children – can it replace voiding cystourethrography?
INTRODUCTION Vesicoureteral reflux appears in 20-50% of pediatric patients with recurrent urinary tract infections. The most common method of diagnosing this disease is voiding cystourethrography. However, contemporary pediatric radiology does not favor this method due to exposure to X-radiation. AIM The aim of this study was to assess the usefulness of 2D/3D/4D contrast-enhanced voiding uros...
